After nearly six years as a partner at Pentagram, Yuri Suzuki is leaving to concentrate on his art, music and installation-based practice.

An award-winning sound designer, Yuri worked on numerous sonic identities including MUBI, MIDI and the Mellon Foundation during his time at Pentagram鈥檚 London office. 

His art and installations have been exhibited all over the world, and he has created hugely popular interactive pieces for Turner Contemporary, Dallas Museum of Art, Berlin鈥檚 Potsdamer Platz, and Brown Hart Gardens in Mayfair. His 鈥楧igital Electronium鈥� was revealed at the Barbican Gallery and his 鈥楽ound of the Earth: Chapter 3鈥� installation was unveiled at the 23rd Triennale Milano International Exhibition.

His Ambient Sound Machine and his PO-80 Record Factory launched to great acclaim, and several of his pieces are now in the permanent collection of New York鈥檚 MoMA. Solo exhibitions 鈥楽ound in Mind鈥� and 鈥楩urniture Music鈥� were held at the Design Museum in London and The Lighthouse in Glasgow.

A true polymath, Yuri has also worked on high-profile interactive music projects for Roland and Moog, he has launched a new record label MSG, and is a regular DJ on Margate Radio. His installation piece 鈥楢rborhythm鈥� is currently on show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, as part of the 鈥楢rt of Noise鈥� exhibition celebrating pioneering designs that shape our music experiences.
