News

  • Registration for modified (grades 7-8) spring sports begins Monday, Feb. 23. Details, including links to the required paperwork, can be found here. New in 2026 - modified girls' flag football! Off-season flag football training begins Feb. 21.
  • Donations are needed for the Q2 honor roll celebration on Feb. 27 - please  and make it a special day for our scholars! Volunteers - for set up and clean up - are also needed.

  • Join us tomorrow for a CTE Open House at Albany High. Students and families are encouraged to stop by between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. to learn more about the district's Career and Technical Education offerings in the state-of-the-art new learning space.
     
  • DATE CHANGE: Our next PTA meeting will be Tuesday (Feb.10) at 5:30 p.m. (so as not to conflict with the CSDA Music Teacher Concert at AHS). You can attend PTA on Tuesday in person or virtually!
     
  • SAVE THE DATE: The City School District of Albany's Special Education ¶¶ÒõappÏÂÔØ Advisory Council (SEPAC) invites parents and caregivers to participate in the organization's first annual Special Education Family Empowerment Conference on Feb. 28.
     
  • The City School District of Albany would like your input in our annual survey, which has been expanded this year to accept feedback from community members as well as families!  only takes a few minutes to complete, and the feedback you provide will play a vital role in our school improvement efforts. If you have any questions, please contact our Office of Curriculum and Instruction at (518) 475-6060. 
     
  • Update from the PTA:
    • Fill a Clynk bag (available near the front office) and either drop it off at the front office or  and we'll pick it up!

    • If you shop or dine at Colonie Center, please help us participate in the . Submit your original receipts either at the mall (Management Office near Sephora or Security Desk near Regal) or drop them off at NAMS' Main Office.
