The Albany High School girls' soccer team welcomed Bethlehem to The Nest for a Suburban Council matchup on Thursday.
The Falcons played a competitive game, giving their all on both ends in a hard-fought 2-0 loss.
Junior goalie Maria Marcou-O'Malley turned in an excellent performance, making nine saves to help keep the Falcons within range throughout the game. Elsa Lamont, Rosie Madden and Evie Blake also provided strong defensive performances and leadership.
