International Club visits the Berkshires

Our Albany High International Club spent a lovely weekend in the beautiful Berkshires thanks to the support of Albany Fund for Education!

Albany High teachers Courtney Heritage and Jennifer Marlow accompanied 28 students to Camp WA WA Segowea for an overnight trip that was a perfect combination of service projects, rest and relaxation.

“Such a great experience,” shared club member Shar Mar. “I'm really grateful we could go my senior year and I could hang out with all my friends one last time!”

Our Falcons collaborated to prepare the camp for summer visitors by raking, cleaning and preparing food. There was also plenty of time to bond with fellow club members during the getaway. Students had a blast playing volleyball, boating, swimming and sharing stories around the campfire!

Getting out of the city and into nature was an enriching experience that our Falcons will carry with them for years to come ― a big thanks to all who helped make this excursion a huge success!
