Enrichment Courses for First-Time Credit
We are once again offering enrichment opportunities for students to take first-time credit in a variety of courses. These course are open to students entering grades 9-12, with the exception of those who need to attend our Credit Recovery Summer Program.

These courses are open to City School District of Albany students entering grades 9-12.

Course availability is subject to change based on budget, enrollment and/ or staffing.
Attendance
Students are expected to attend all classes each day while summer school is in session. Students with 3 or more absences are at risk of being dropped from the program.
Grading
All grading will be numeric, following the same grading policy as the regular school year.
The policy for cell phones and electronic devices for summer school will be the same as during the regular school year.
Technology
City School District of Albany students will use district-issued Chromebooks.
Non-district students who reside in the City of Albany are responsible for meeting their own technology needs.

Transportation
Summer CDTA passes will be provided to students who meet the standard transportation eligibility requirements.
Students who have transportation included in their 504s or IEPs will be provided yellow bus transportation.
Meals
Breakfast and lunch will be available for all students.
Safety & Security
Student IDs are required every day for entry, and all students must adhere to security protocols.
Students will be held to behavioral expectations and disciplinary policies of the district Code of Conduct.
